Illustrated Bookmaking 2 is a second volume of diagrams featuring a new collection of book structures, projects, and tools. Beginning with ILLUSTRATED BOOKMAKING, the initial series of drawings was created for my own educational and instructional purposes over the years of teaching my Book Arts class. This new selection of diagrams features student projects that I have consistently taught along with some of my own most recently produced studio edition projects. Creating diagrams has helped me to better understand the structures. As I work through each drawing, I rediscover nuance in the process of these seemingly simple books! It is always my intention to guide people through making these projects. However, I will reiterate that although somewhat directional, the diagrams included in the ILLUSTRATED BOOKMAKING series are intended to supplement in-person (or online) bookmaking instruction and practice. 

I hope people continue to find these drawings beautiful, educational, and useful. I have enjoyed making them!
